The Movie

So I, too, am a fan of the movie. I always felt I was a mediocre Christian, but NOT a bad one. I thought I need a little work, but was overall pretty good about living a decent Christian life. I now realize how blind I've been and how I've been fooling myself for quite sometime. When Peter denied Jesus, I thought how I'd never do that. But I have......only in smaller forms. I've ignored those who critisize Jesus instead of speaking up. I've kept my mouth shut when I was a minority and didn't feel "comfortable" standing up by my lonesome. It would be "embarrassing" to be perceived as a "Jesus freak", a "radical", or a "holy roller". I realize now that it is probably easier to Die for Jesus at knife-point or gun-point to a stranger, than it is to LIVE for Jesus on an everyday basis to your peers. This movie encourages you to stop and think about your life. I only hope that I can stay strong and not slip into the ruts and grooves I've carved in the past. Pray for me to be a better example of God's word to the world.
